About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting and Finance Supervisor to join our dynamic team at HENRY PROFESSIONAL HARDWARE PHILIPPINES CORP'. As the Accounting and Finance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting operations. This is a full-time position based in Pasay City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and managing the day-to-day accounting and finance activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
  • Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses to support decision-making
  • Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and accounting policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business objectives
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency
  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing the accounting and finance team
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledgeable in using Accounting Software (SAP BUSINESS ONE)
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and best practices
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Proven track record of leading and developing a team
