Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Junior Manual Tester
to join our QA team. The role involves executing test cases, identifying software defects, and ensuring product quality before release. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a strong interest in software testing, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases based on project requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure software quality.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Provide clear and detailed test reports and status updates to the QA Lead/Manager.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not always required).
  • At least a year of experience in software testing or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
