Functional Tester

  1. Experience with financial applications (e.g., Yardi, leasing, payments, property/investment software)
  2. Proven experience with Integration Testing, UAT and End2End Testing
  3. BI reporting experience – testing source and target systems.
  4. Experience with JMeter or other performance testing tools.
  5. Confident stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills.
  6. Background in banking or accounting

Automation tester

  1. Experience with financial applications (e.g., Yardi, leasing, payments, property/investment software), integration testing, and UAT support.
  2. Background in banking or accounting domains.
  3. Hands-on experience with RPA tools, primarily UiPath, for process automation.
  4. Exposure to open-source automation frameworks (e.g Selenium, Playwright, Appium).
  5. Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills (must have).
  6. Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter (nice to have).

In addition to the above, our observations from the earlier screenings were:

  • They require candidates with
    sharp automation skills

— meaning a strong understanding of automation fundamentals, some coding exposure, and familiarity with automation tools. A purely manual functional UI testing background will not be sufficient.
- They are seeking a
highly skilled automation tester

. All of Yondu's mid- to senior-level automation candidates have not passed their screening to date. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in
test automation design

, not just converting manual test cases into automation scripts.
- Exposure to multiple automation frameworks is essential. While UiPath and Playwright are their primary tools, the candidate should also have experience with other open-source frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, and Appium.
- Must also have strong capabilities as a Functional Tester, not solely as an automation engineer.
- For both functional tester and automation tester, although not explicitly stated, candidates are also expected to have:
- Experience in mobile testing
- Exposure to performance testing
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
