Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Technical Privacy Support Staff
(Backend Developer)
to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust and scalable server-side applications. This role requires strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of backend technologies, and a commitment to data privacy and system security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable server-side applications and APIs.
  • Integrate frontend elements developed by the UI/UX and frontend teams with server-side logic.
  • Manage and optimize database structures, queries, and overall system performance.
  • Implement strong data protection, authentication, and authorization mechanisms in line with data privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications to enhance performance and stability.
  • Prepare technical documentation to support system maintenance and scalability.
  • Adhere to best practices in software development, version control, and security compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related course
  • Proficiency in Java Spring Boot 2.2.0 and above.
  • Strong experience with
    databases
    (MariaDB or MySQL).
  • In-depth understanding of
    RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based environments
    (Azure).
  • Familiarity with
    Git version control
    and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on performance and security.
  • Knowledge of
    data privacy principles and compliance
    (Philippine Data Privacy Act) is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to frontend technologies (React or Angular).
  • Experience working under Agile or Scrum development environments.
