A leading General Agency in the Tri-State area is looking for a Benefits Analyst to join our team full-time. If you're already in the employee benefits space—or eager to grow in it—this is a great opportunity to be part of a team that values collaboration, mentorship, and growth.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Work directly with clients and insurance carriers to collect essential information (census data, claims history, plan details, etc.)
  • Create clear, compelling cost analysis presentations and proposals—primarily in Excel
  • Organize and submit RFPs to major insurance carriers (medical + ancillary lines)
  • Manage the entire RFP process: timelines, follow-ups, and documentation
  • Build relationships with carrier reps and contribute to smart, strategic marketing efforts
  • Stay up to date on industry standards, including PPACA and evolving benefits trends
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Some experience in employee benefits or a related field (we'll help you level up with additional training)
  • Great with words—both written and verbal communication are strong suits
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and can pivot priorities without missing a beat
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office—especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • NY State Health, Life & Accident License is a big plus (or a willingness to get it)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Bonus: Experience with PEOs or knowledge of the PEO market
