About the role
As Compliance and Employee Relations Lead, you are responsible in reports to align with and assist the Head of Human Resources in the implementation of activities related to employee relations and compliance interventions to strengthen company's relationship to its employees in collaboration with the business units while ensuring compliance with local laws and company-specific regulations.
How you'll contribute
- Monitors Company's compliance to local labor laws, affiliate, and company-specific regulations.
- Generates and prepares reports on compliance issues, risk and applicable regulatory reports needed by requesting Business Units, Compliance, Audit or regulatory bodies.
- Implements a fair and inclusive process that is appropriate to effectively manage employee risks, concerns, and grievances that is compliant with the employee relations policies and applicable local labor laws.
- Evaluates and resolves human relations, labor relations, and work-related problems, and meets with management to determine appropriate action.
- Provides consultation to managers on performance issue management; helping them strengthen their people leadership skills working to ensure robust and equitable outcomes.
- Updates, formulates and implements employee policies and procedures. This includes conducting effective and engaging orientations and related learning sessions.
- Business Unit's Auxiliary Governance Officer. Acts as a conduit of the assigned unit with the governance offices of the company (Compliance Office, Internal Audit, and Risk Management) in ensuring timely and satisfactory compliance to regulatory and internal requirements; supports the implementation and compliance of internal controls within the assigned unit.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in BS Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in employee relations and compliance
- Good communication and presentation skills
- In-depth knowledge of legal due process administration and analysis
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and the just and authorized causes of termination
- Proactive individual with high level of integrity, sense of urgency and can handle pressure at all times
