Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Project In-Charge to oversee and manage onsite project operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that construction activities are executed according to plans, standards, and timelines. This role requires strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills to support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor daily site operations to ensure work progress aligns with project schedules.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Ensure all onsite activities comply with approved plans, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Assist in preparing and updating project timelines, progress reports, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify issues, resolve conflicts, and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate project updates, challenges, and requirements to management and other departments.
  • Support the preparation of permits, documentation, purchase requests, and other project-related requirements.
  • Monitor manpower productivity and ensure efficient allocation of labor and resources.
  • Handle client concerns or inquiries related to the project as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction, project supervision, or site management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledgeable in construction processes, materials, and site safety practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick and sound decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must be willing to travel to various project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in fit-out, commercial, or residential construction projects is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Gantt charts).
  • With a valid driver's license or motorcycle license is a plus.
