Job Description and Qualifications

  • Must be amenable to work 100% onsite in WNS Eastwood Site.
  • Proficiency in one or more GDS systems (Worldspan, Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus, and Apollo)
  • Thorough understanding of International/US Domestic Ticketing, Exchange, Refunds, Hotel, and Car booking
  • Good knowledge about OBT (Concur, Get there etc.)
  • Efficient knowledge of IATA World Geography, including TC Areas, Global Indicator, and Type of Journey
  • Ability to interpret Fare calculation lines on GDS ticket images
  • Capability to perform Manual fare calculations for Partial Exchange and Partial Refund scenarios
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with comprehension of US and UK accents
  • Capacity to provide optimal solutions to travelers during after-hours or emergency situations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Approachable, cooperative, and a team player, able to garner trust and support from team members and peers
  • Proficient in Customer Service Skills for managing corporate travellers
  • At least 2 year experience/knowledge in one or more GDS applications (Sabre, Worldspan, Apollo, Amadeus, or Galileo)
  • Customer service background of at least 2 years, preferably in a travel account
  • Strong experience in working with the US market and handling corporate clients is preferred
  • Previous experience with an Online Booking Tool (OBT) is advantageous
