Job Description
As an AP Specialist, you'll manage corporate and subsidiary insurance portfolios, assess risks, coordinate renewals, and guide strategic coverage decisions. From negotiating with brokers to supporting claims, you'll ensure comprehensive protection and compliance for large-scale projects across diverse sectors.

Work setup: Hybrid, Makati (3 days onsite: Tue, Wed, Thu; WFH on Mon & Fri; Weekends off)

The Qualifications We Seek
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, or related field
- CIP, CRM, or CAIB designation preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in corporate insurance, risk management, or insurance brokerage, ideally within real estate, construction, or infrastructure industries
- Strong understanding of insurance policy structures, regulatory requirements, and claims processes
- Experience managing insurance needs for large property portfolios, development projects, or public-private partnerships is a strong asset
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance management systems or ERPs
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Your Daily Tasks
- Develop, manage, and maintain all corporate and subsidiary insurance policies including property, casualty, general liability, professional liability, D&O, builder's risk, environmental, and other specialized coverage
- Act as the primary liaison with insurance brokers, underwriters, and legal counsel to ensure optimal coverage, pricing, and claims support
- Conduct regular risk assessments and insurance audits across all entities to identify coverage gaps or areas of risk exposure
- Coordinate annual insurance renewals and ensure timely submission of underwriting information
- Support the management and resolution of insurance claims, including documentation, liaising with adjusters, and monitoring progress to closure
- Work closely with the CFO and senior leadership to align insurance strategies with enterprise risk management goals
- Provide guidance on insurance requirements for contracts, leases, construction projects, and vendor agreements
- Monitor developments in insurance markets and regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain a centralized database of insurance policies, claims history, certificates of insurance, and related documentation
- Develop training materials and conduct sessions for staff on insurance protocols and claims procedures
- Participate in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and new ventures to evaluate and integrate insurance coverage
