About the Role

We are a growing Managed IT Services Provider supporting business clients across Ireland and the UK.

We deliver proactive IT support, automation, and cybersecurity using the Kaseya 365 suite, Datto RMM, and the Microsoft 365 / Azure ecosystem.

We're seeking an experienced Remote IT Support Engineer based in the Philippines to join our technical operations team.

This role suits a self-starter with solid MSP experience who can handle end-to-end technical support, cloud setup, automation, and remote monitoring independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote desktop and server support to business clients via RMM and PSA systems.
  • Troubleshoot endpoint issues (Windows 10/11, laptops, desktops, mobile devices).
  • Set up and configure new Microsoft 365 tenants for onboarding clients.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Defender).
  • Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy environments.
  • Configure and maintain Azure resources including VMs, storage, and Azure AD.
  • Monitor and respond to RMM alerts, patching, and backup notifications.
  • Create and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Kaseya policies, procedures).
  • Perform network troubleshooting (VPNs, routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Document all work in the PSA system with clear notes and time tracking.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance proactive support and automation.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience providing remote technical support in an MSP environment.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune).

Hands-on experience with Azure AD, Windows Server, and Active Directory.

Excellent endpoint troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs).

Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools (preferably Kaseya, Datto, or similar).

Self-starter who works independently, manages workload effectively, and communicates clearly.

Excellent English communication skills – both written and spoken.

Reliable home office setup with stable internet connection and backup power.

Applicants must have excellent spoken English and confidence to communicate directly with international business clients via phone and Microsoft Teams.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with Kaseya 365 modules
  • PowerShell scripting and Kaseya automation
  • Knowledge of Datto Backup, Graphus, or SaaS Alerts
