Position Overview

The Maintenance / Project Head is responsible for the overall management, planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance operations within assigned Filoil refilling stations. The role ensures that all facilities, systems, and equipment remain in top operating condition through preventive and corrective maintenance programs. This position also involves managing technical staff, implementing projects, overseeing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and supervise the execution of all maintenance operations including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of fuel dispensers, underground tanks, piping systems, pumps, compressors, generators, electrical panels, and HVAC systems.
  • Conduct regular ocular inspections to ensure work quality, safety compliance, and timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Manage maintenance teams, contractors, and suppliers; ensure compliance with company standards and maintenance KPIs.
  • Oversee budgeting and material requisitions, ensuring cost-effective utilization of tools, spare parts, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with other departments for project planning and execution of minor construction or station improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with DOE, DENR, and LGU regulations on safety, environment, and facility operations.
  • Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and project documentation for management review.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety awareness, and technical excellence among maintenance teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (required).
  • Preferably a Licensed Engineer or Registered Master Electrician (RME).
  • At least 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas, fuel retail, or industrial facility maintenance.
  • Strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, including automation controls, grounding, lightning protection, and PLC-based systems.
  • Proven experience in project management, preventive maintenance programs, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledgeable in HSE standards, DOE/PNOC compliance, and environmental safety protocols.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and maintenance monitoring systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willing to travel and manage multiple locations.
