Job Overview

The Electrician is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all electrical systems in Filoil fuel stations. This role focuses on the repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical equipment, ensuring full compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations across multiple sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of electrical systems in fuel stations, including dispensers, pumps, control panels, lighting, and grounding systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, ensuring timely resolution to prevent operational downtime.
  • Execute electrical construction works and installations during the construction or renovation of retail stations.
  • Read, interpret, and implement electrical plans, schematics, and layout drawings.
  • Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and ensure compliance with safety codes.
  • Perform load analysis, wiring layout, circuit testing, and calibration of electrical components.
  • Coordinate with contractors and other technical teams to ensure quality and compliance of electrical work.
  • Maintain detailed service and maintenance records for audit and monitoring purposes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, including proper lock-out/tag-out procedures during maintenance.
  • Support the maintenance team in overall operational efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related vocational course.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical repair and maintenance, preferably in fuel refilling stations or industrial facilities.

  • Technical Competencies:

  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems, control circuits, and automation panels.

  • Skilled in electrical layout, conduit installation, and load distribution.
  • Knowledgeable in electrical codes, safety standards, and grounding systems.
  • Familiar with the electrical design and operation of fuel dispensers, lighting systems, and power supply networks.
  • Certifications: Preferably COSH certified (Construction Occupational Safety and Health).
  • License: Must know how to drive (4-wheels) and possess a valid driver's license.
