Learning and Organizational Development Specialist

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Learning and Development Specialist assists the L&OD team in coordinating and administering training programs under Consistent University, conducting organizational assessments, and supporting various initiatives aimed at enhancing employee performance, development, and overall organizational effectiveness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Training Delivery & Facilitation
● Lead and deliver a wide range of training programs, including instructor-led training
(ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), workshops, and on-the-job training (OJT)
sessions.
● Facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences for diverse audiences,
adapting style and approach to meet participant needs.
● Master and articulate complex subject matter, including company products,
processes, systems, and soft skills.
● Manage classroom dynamics and participant engagement to ensure a positive and
productive learning environment.
● Conduct effective Q&A sessions and provide constructive feedback to participants
- Learning Execution & Coordination
● Own the end-to-end execution of scheduled training events, including coordinating
logistics (venue, equipment, materials, scheduling).
● Ensure readiness for all training sessions, including testing technology (virtual
platforms, projectors, etc.) and preparing physical materials.
● Administer pre- and post-training activities, such as sending out preparatory
materials, conducting attendance tracking, and managing follow-up communications.
● Maintain and update training materials, participant guides, and job aids to reflect the
latest information and instructional standards.
● Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for training content during delivery.
- Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
● Administer and analyze training evaluations (e.g., Level 1 and 2 Kirkpatrick models) to
measure immediate effectiveness and participant satisfaction.
● Provide actionable feedback to instructional designers and content developers based
on classroom observations and learner performance to continuously improve training
content and delivery methods.
- Data and Record Management:
● Maintains accurate records of employee training participation and performance
evaluations.
● Prepares reports and analysis related to training effectiveness and learning
outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business, or a related field.
● 2-3 years of experience in corporate training, adult learning, teaching, or a dedicated
facilitation role, with a strong emphasis on direct training delivery.
● Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to command a room,
whether in-person or virtually.
● Proficiency in virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex) and adult
learning tools and principles.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport quickly with diverse
groups.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple
simultaneous training events.
● Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Experience Platform
(LXP) administration and reporting.
● Familiarity with instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM)
