Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Planning: Design structures such as buildings, bridges, roads, and water systems, using blueprints, maps, and computer modeling (CAD).
  • Project Management: Oversee projects from the planning stage through construction and maintenance, managing timelines and budgets.
  • Site Analysis: Conduct site investigations, including soil testing, topographical surveys, and feasibility studies to ensure projects are viable and safe.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant legal requirements, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical plans, specifications, and reports for project stakeholders.
  • Coordination: Liaise with architects, contractors, government officials, clients, and other team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve design and development issues that arise during a project's lifecycle.
  • Budgeting: Calculate and manage project costs, including materials, labor, and related expenses.
