RPA Developer

The Senior Analyst Programmer – RPA is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency. The role involves collaboration with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, create efficient workflows, and maintain robust automation systems leveraging UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform tools.

Technical and Functional Competencies

Must Have:

• MS O365 Cloud Services: SharePoint, SharePoint List, Power Automate (Cloud Flow & Desktop), Power BI, OneDrive
• RPA Tools: UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, Automation Hub

Good to Have:

• Programming Languages: Python, C#, VB.NET, VBS
• Agile Methodologies: Scrum, Kanban
• DevOps Tools: Git, Azure DevOps
• Experience with AI, AI Agents, and Agentic Automations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in software development, automation, RPA, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience specifically in UiPath RPA development.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop) for workflow design and development.
• Proven experience designing and implementing UiPath automation solutions, including workflow design, exception handling, and data manipulation.
• Previous experience with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) or Document Understanding tools.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• UiPath Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and experience integrating them with RPA workflows is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely.

Key Responsibilities and DutiesProcess Analysis and Automation Design

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze existing business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Design and document RPA solutions aligned with business goals and process improvement objectives.

RPA Development

• Develop and implement automation solutions using UiPath and related tools.
• Write, test, and maintain efficient and scalable automation scripts.
• Integrate RPA workflows with existing systems and applications in collaboration with development teams.

Quality Assurance and Testing

• Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance of RPA solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and testing phases.

Reporting, Documentation, and Analysis

• Create and maintain detailed project documentation.
• Track project progress, stakeholder updates, and task completion milestones.
• Analyze and optimize existing workflows to enhance efficiency and automation potential.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning.
• Manage stakeholder communications effectively, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues.
• Prepare and submit required reports and monitor daily service deliverables.
• Support team members and ensure continuity of service through knowledge sharing and flexible assistance.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in RPA, chatbots, and process automation technologies.
• Provide technical mentorship or training to junior developers or analyst programmers.

Support

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot automation issues raised by stakeholders.
• Implement preventive measures to minimize recurring issues and ensure long-term automation stability.
