Your Role
As a
Senior Financial Accountant
,
you will:

  • Coordinate monthly financial close, including preparation and review of reconciliations and journals.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and monthly cash flow reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of half-year and full-year statutory reports in compliance with Australian and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Prepare annual financial statements for multiple entities within the group.
  • Analyze reports to identify risks, ensure accuracy, and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather information and resolve queries.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and financial support as required.

Non-negotiables
What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or audit
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Experience with consolidated reporting and statutory compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (preferably JDE) and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling abilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
