Implement and maintain various IT Projects such as Point-of-Sale (POS), Store Email, Store Timekeeping, Store Application Manager (SAM), File Transfer Agent, NetworX, Team Viewer, Antivirus, Open Office, Stores Internet Connection, GPS Tracking System and future developments, which requires remote/on-site installation and support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Information Technology or any related course
  • With experience in IT-Project Implementation & Support
  • Expert in software, hardware and network installation and troubleshooting via on-site and remote
  • Knowledgeable in Systems, Network & Data Security
  • Capable of technical documentation & systems training
  • Understand legal compliance, industry standards, best practices and latest technologies

Duties & Responsibilities:

IT PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

  • Process the POS Permit Application of the Store, in coordination with the POS Vendor and Accounting/Franchisee
  • Set up and configure the Point-Of-Sales Hardware, System and Network Connection in the Store.
  • Install and configure the Store Local Timekeeping, File Transfer Agent, Email, NetworX, Team Viewer and future developments.

SYSTEM, HARDWARE, AND NETWORK MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT

  • Secure the completeness and good working condition of POS Hardware back-units in the Plant Offices.
  • Keeps the POS and other Store Systems updated, by ensuring the completeness of patches and upgrades installed.
  • Conducts onsite support (if necessary) for POS software, hardware and network issues.
  • Assist in the set-up/cancellation of POS System for New Store, Conversion, Returned and Closing.

RESOLVES PROCEDURAL AND TECHNICAL ISSUES

  • Record and monitor all procedural and technical issues in the Ticketing System.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot Level 1 and Level 2 POS and other systems technical issues using Team Viewer Remote Connection or onsite if necessary.

SYSTEMS, HARDWARE AND NETWORK EVALUATION

  • Observe the quality of POS Hardware in terms of durability and compatibility with the POS System. Make recommendations for necessary upgrades.
  • Evaluate the design and performance of the POS and other Store Systems. Make recommendations for necessary enhancements and development.
  • Monitor the signal strength of all deployed DATA SIMs in the stores. Install outdoor antenna/signal booster if necessary to improve and make the 3G/4G/LTE network stable.
