JOB SUMMARY:
The Payroll & Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing the accurate and timely processing of payrollfor over 2,000 employees across multiple business units. The role ensures compliance with all statutory requirements and company policies while maintaining smooth coordination with internal teams. This position requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and adaptability to automation and innovation processes to support continuous improvement in payroll operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Payroll Processing: Handle end-to-end payroll processing for 2,000+ employees, ensuring accuracy andcompliance with deadlines. Validate attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and adjustments prior tocomputation. Reconcile variances and coordinate payroll corrections with HR, Finance, and Operations. Prepare payroll reports for review and approval. Always maintain the confidentiality and integrity of payroll information.
2. Timekeeping Management: Monitor and validate daily attendance from biometrics and timekeeping systems. Accurately handle and navigate timekeeping systems to ensure complete and correct databefore each cutoff. Coordinate with HR and site supervisors for attendance discrepancies, scheduleadjustments, and leave tagging. Generate timekeeping audit reports and ensure all data are validated prior to payrollprocessing.
3. Payroll System Administration: Handle and navigate payroll systems (e.g., NBS, HRPay, ERP or equivalent) for accurate dataentry, report generation, and payroll computation. Assist in system enhancement, configuration updates, and validation testing. Support system integration with HR, Finance, and Workforce tools. Participate in automation and innovation projects to improve payroll efficiency andaccuracy.
4. Mandatory Benefits and Compliance: Prepare and submit accurate monthly statutory contributions and loan reports for SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth. Administer statutory loans, sickness, and maternity reimbursements. Ensure timely remittance of government-mandated deductions, contributions, and loan amortizations. Support audits and compliance checks related to DOLE, BIR, and other regulatory agencies. Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance checks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration.
Proven ability to handle high-volume payroll (2,000+ employees).
Experienced in handling and navigating payroll and timekeeping systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, formulas, and data validation).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
