We are seeking candidates who bring both solid card payments experience and strong BA skills.

The Business Systems Analyst will form part of our Cross-Functional Teams working closely with all stakeholders including product/business requirements, technical and QA.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing delivery and release schedules for projects, changes, service requests and mandatory releases as per clients' SLAs
  • Actively participate (and possibly lead) in knowledge transfer activities and providing technical leadership and advice as part of the requirements analysis and hand-over
  • Create client requirements analysis/design documents (where applicable) and High Level Test Cases in view of these being used for the generation of functional and regression test cases
  • Create, execute and maintain automated and manual tests to ensure that the software delivered is in line with the set business requirements
  • Actively engage and liaise with the end client on a daily basis as well as internal teams during testing to ensure compliance with the business requirements and agreed specifications/timelines
  • Help technical teams to create optimal use cases and database design
  • Coordinate with testing team during various phases of testing and represent end-users in the UAT phase i.e. participating in UAT and PROD support when required.

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be in possession of a degree in business and computing or a similar recognized qualification
  • Should have a good knowledge of the payments industry and 2 years of working experience in the payments/fintech industry; product ownership experience is an asset
  • Should have deep understanding of requirements gathering processes, such as user stories, use cases, business requirements, etc.
  • Must be proficient in a scripting language, ideally SQL
  • Should have experience with JIRA, Confluence or similar tools
  • Must possess good English communication skills as he/she will be collaborating with foreign clients and colleagues on daily basis
  • Should be able to perform under pressure and possess good problem-solving skills
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize across different tasks and meet deadlines as per business objectives
