About the role

As a Production Supervisor at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc', you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing operations within our Lipa City, Batangas facility. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the efforts of our production teams to ensure efficient, high-quality and on-time delivery of our automotive components.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of production teams to meet established targets and objectives
  2. Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in productivity, quality and safety
  3. Provide leadership, coaching and support to production team members to enhance their skills and performance
  4. Collaborate with other departments such as quality, maintenance and logistics to ensure seamless operations
  5. Implement and enforce company policies, procedures and safety standards
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities
  7. Identify and escalate issues or concerns that may impact production schedules and quality

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
  2. Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control and lean manufacturing principles
  3. Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve targets and maintain high standards
  4. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
  5. Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
  6. Familiarity with applicable industry regulations and safety standards
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  8. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
