Position Overview
The Cashier plays a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth financial transactions at Biyaya Animal Care. This position is responsible for handling payments, issuing receipts, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining accurate financial records while creating a welcoming environment for clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesCashiering and Transactions
- Accurately process cash, credit/debit card, and online payment transactions.
- Issue official receipts, invoices, and change to clients promptly.
- Ensure proper posting of services, medications, and products availed by clients.
- Balance the cash drawer daily and prepare end-of-day financial reports.
Customer Service
- Greet clients in a professional and friendly manner upon arrival.
- Provide information on services, products, and promotions when needed.
- Assist clients with billing inquiries and resolve payment-related concerns.
- Coordinate with veterinarians, technicians, and receptionists to ensure smooth client experience.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Monitor and safeguard petty cash, vouchers, and discount approvals.
- Assist in inventory reconciliation by ensuring sales are properly recorded.
- Support the front office in scheduling, record-keeping, and other clerical tasks when necessary.
Qualifications
- At least College level; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier, teller, or in customer service is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and cash-handling procedures.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to handle confidential information.
Schedule
- Shifting schedule
- 8 hours shift
- 6 days a week
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Php18,070.00 per month
