Job Summary
The IT Administrator oversees NHC's day-to-day technology operations, ensuring all systems—including network, hardware, software, Softphone/VoIP solutions, and cybersecurity—run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. This role supports business continuity, handles IT infrastructure maintenance, manages user support, and coordinates IT team coverage during NHC's operating hours to meet telesales and office needs.
Key Responsibilities1. IT Operations & Infrastructure Management
- Administer and maintain servers, workstations, network devices, and communication systems (LAN/WAN, VPN, Softphone/VoIP).
- Support cloud-based and on-premise systems (CRM, e-commerce platforms).
- Ensure system reliability, regular updates, and effective backup and recovery measures.
2. Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy laws (e.g., Philippine Data Privacy Act) and company policies.
- Manage data security, backup schedules, and access control.
3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide advanced technical assistance and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor IT performance, identify issues, and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Develop user guides and conduct training sessions to enhance employee tech literacy.
4. Vendor & System Management
- Coordinate with external service providers for hardware, software, and network solutions.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely renewal of licenses and compliance with SLAs.
5. Manpower Coordination & Shift Scheduling
- Support IT manpower planning and create shift schedules to maintain coverage across business hours.
- Monitor attendance, leave, and overtime within the IT team.
- Provide performance feedback and coordinate training needs with management.
QualificationsEducational Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Master's degree or advanced IT certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA) is an advantage.
Work Experience Requirement
- Minimum 8 years of IT operations experience, with at least 2 yrs AM/managerial level
- Strong background in network administration, server management, and IT support.
- Experience with Softphone/VoIP systems, cloud platforms, and CRM/ERP applications preferred.
- Exposure to multi-shift or call center environments is an advantage.
- The IT Administrator is expected to work hands-on alongside the team, not only providing direction but also actively performing technical tasks and resolving issues as needed.
