Job Summary:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing daily operations across purchasing, warehousing, inventory control and dispatch. This role ensures smooth coordination between departments, cost-effective procurement, and timely delivery of goods and services. The Operations Supervisor will also lead process improvements, supplier management, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position directly manages 1 purchaser and 1 warehouse liaison staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end operations including purchasing, inventory, warehouse, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement operational systems and best practices.
  • Ensure effective coordination between departments for order fulfillment and stock management.
  • Oversee procurement to ensure timely and cost-efficient purchasing.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts.
  • Supervise receiving, storage and dispatch activities.
  • Implement stock control procedures to reduce discrepancies and losses.
  • Manage dispatch schedules and delivery operations.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation and safety regulations.
  • Conduct quality checking of incoming third-party items to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Maintain documentation of quality inspections and reports.
  • Supervise and mentor purchasing and warehouse liaison staff
  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • With 5 years experience in Operations Management, including purchasing, warehousing and logistics.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with SAP Business One (SAP B1)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
