Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (degree in hospitality/business is a plus).

  • Experience:

2+ years as a senior barista or team leader.

1+ years in a supervisory or management role (preferred).

Key Skills Required

  • Strong leadership and team supervision.
  • Excellent barista skills: espresso machine operation, latte art, brewing techniques.
  • Good knowledge of coffee beans, grinders, milk alternatives, and recipes.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable using POS systems and back-office software (Excel, inventory systems).
  • Strong communication (verbal + written).
  • Ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities (Including Reporting)

  • Supervise daily operations of the coffee bar.
  • Lead and train barista team to ensure consistent quality and service.
  • Create staff schedules and manage shift coverage.
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.
  • Handle inventory management: order supplies, track usage, reduce waste.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports, including:

Sales reports , Staff performance , Inventory usage and costs, Customer feedback summaries.

  • Collaborate with upper management on business improvements.
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews.
