Job description:

  • Under the general direction, the position is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of key strategies and activities to ensure that the company consistently abides by all laws, regulations and internally generated guidelines to constantly generate revenue and to protect the trust and confidence of the public.
  • Represent the organization in legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, and/or other authorities to protect its interests.
  • Review all applicable laws, rules, regulations and government issuances ("Laws") relevant to the business of the Company, including all amendments thereof or updates thereto, including but not limited to those issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission, National Privacy Commission, Anti-Money Laundering Council, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Department of Labor and Employment, and other relevant agencies.
  • Prepare legal contracts, letters of agreement, and other related documents.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the Philippines
  • At least 3 years relevant experience
  • Prior experience working with a Real Estate Property, financial institution or other regulated business, such as banks, lending companies, or financial technology companies is advantage.
  • Can work independently or as a part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Knowledge of all applicable laws, rules and regulations
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to prepare complex legal documents
  • Can work onsite Monday-Friday (Kapitolyo, Pasig City)
