Job Overview:

We're looking for a meticulous and proactive Contract Administrator & Estimator to support residential construction projects across Sydney. In this role, you'll handle everything from preparing tender packages and coordinating with trades to managing contracts and estimating project costs. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a knack for numbers, and love keeping projects on track — this is your perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage Requests for Quotes (RFQs) for various trades and suppliers
  • Coordinate trade contractors and subcontractors throughout all project stages
  • Set up and lead site meetings with trades and key stakeholders
  • Develop tender packages and manage the tendering process
  • Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimations, and prepare budgets for residential builds
  • Maintain project documentation, contracts, and correspondence
  • Ensure projects comply with Australian construction standards and regulations
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  • Communicate effectively with trades and partners via phone and email
Requirements

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
  • Proven experience in contract administration and estimating within the residential construction sector
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and cost control
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software/tools
  • Familiarity with Australian tendering processes and building codes
