Analytics Specialist

Role Overview:

This position will be responsible for analyzing data, developing insights, and providing recommendations to improve business performance. The position will report directly to ITG Enterprise System Development Department Head. The ideal candidate should have experience in data analysis, visualization, and communication, as well as a strong understanding of business operations.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Develop dashboards and reports to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) of project team and to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for data-driven decision making
  • Develop predictive models to forecast (what ifs) and identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Provide recommendations to improve business systems performance based on data insights
  • Monitor and measure system data structures and implementation strategies and make recommendations for improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest analytics tools and trends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, visualization, and communication
  • Strong understanding of business operations and ability to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
  • Experience in statistical analysis tools such as R or SAS
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or SQL
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
