ABOUT THE POSITION:

Manage, Supervise, prepare, and ensure the proper execution of the accounting process for the Philippines, including the preparation of financial statements that guarantee accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. Manage and support internal and external audits, ensuring the availability and accuracy of financial information

Key Responsibilities

Its functions are the following; however, they are not limited to:

  • Manage the accounting and financial records of the entity in the Philippines.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for decision-making purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate annual audits and collaborate with external auditors.

Activities/Task

  • Record daily accounting transactions in the system, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
  • Review and reconcile accounting and bank accounts to ensure accurate balances.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for the headquarters, with a deadline generally set for the fifth business day of the following month.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with the Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
  • Submit tax declarations to the BIR (VAT, income tax, withholding taxes, among others) in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Operations, Procurement) to align financial practices with business strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience in multinational companies or shared service centers is a plus.

Technical Knowledge Required

  • Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Dynamics or QuickBooks).
  • Advanced knowledge of PFRS, BIR regulations, and tax compliance in the Philippines.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
