Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving sales targets within the assigned territory or product line. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sales Engineer collaborates closely with internal teams to deliver effective solutions that meet client needs and support the company's overall sales objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or any related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in technical or industrial sales, preferably in water filtration, kitchen equipment, or laundry machines.
- Strong background in solution selling and handling B2B or institutional clients.
- Excellent strategic planning, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Goal-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
- With strong communication and negotiation skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned sales targets and ensure profitability of all accounts handled.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and clients.
- Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and bid documents in coordination with the sales support and technical teams.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers to ensure win–win agreements.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular visits, after-sales support, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with other departments (Service, Technical, Credit & Collection) to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide feedback to management for business improvement.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to strengthen market presence.
- Submit accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and pipeline updates in a timely manner.
- Perform other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
