Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field surveys to gather topographic and construction layout data.
  • Set out control points and reference markers to guide construction teams.
  • Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and plans to determine land features and elevations.
  • Use survey instruments such as total stations, levels, GPS equipment, and laser scanners.
  • Calculate volumes, areas, elevations, and alignments for use in construction activities.
  • Monitor and verify worksite progress and layout accuracy during construction.
  • Collaborate with site engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Maintain clear and accurate survey records, maps, and reports.
  • Identify potential design or construction issues and report them to the project in-charge and construction manager.
