About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on the role of Senior Procurement Specialist at iOPEX Tech', a leading provider of warehousing, storage and distribution services in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the company's supply chain and sourcing activities to support the overall business objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
  • Monitor and analyze supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop procurement solutions
  • Maintain detailed records of all procurement activities and provide regular reports
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulations and best practices in procurement
  • Mentor and provide guidance to more junior members of the procurement team

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to navigate complex supplier relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
  • Must be willing to work on Night Shifts and Shifting Schedules at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City
