Senior Finance Specialist

Navagis is a Location Intelligence company that empowers organizations to leverage geospatial information to efficiently run their multiple operations via web and mobile applications. Navagis software solutions are built using Google Maps and Google Cloud technologies and open systems to integrate various information sources into a map-driven common operating picture for the entire enterprise.

To expand our Asia Pacific operations, we are in need of a Senior Finance Specialist to join our fast-growing team.

Your Role:

• Gather and consolidate financial and operational data from multiple departments to support strategic reviews, planning sessions, and business performance assessments.
• Ensure the reliability and consistency of financial and business data by verifying outputs, and establishing quality control measures to maintain data integrity.
• Assist in preparing clear, accurate financial reports and visual presentations for the management team, providing valuable input for senior-level discussions and decision-making.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by supplying relevant financial data, supporting model development, and helping refine key assumptions and projections.
• Continuously monitor performance metrics across business units, helping identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improving data reporting processes and business outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with third-party payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
• Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by the management team.
• In-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with Philippine tax laws and regulations (Taxation, BIR compliance, and other statutory reporting).

About You:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accountancy and/or other related courses
• At least five years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge and experience in using ERP systems.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in managing accounts receivable and payable processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Standard work hours is dayshift (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Philippine time). Candidates must have the flexibility to be available for occasional urgent tasks or meetings on a US shift as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php55, Php65,000.00 per month
