Procurement Assistant Coordinator

The Procurement Assistant Coordinator supports daily procurement operations by processing purchase requests, coordinating with suppliers and logistics, monitoring deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. The role ensures timely and cost-effective procurement while providing updates to requestors and assisting with supplier accreditation and system transactions. · Receive, review, and process all incoming and outgoing Purchase Requests (PRs) and procurement-related documents. · Maintain accurate records, including tracking of vehicle repairs and maintenance logs. · Provide timely updates to requestors regarding the status of their procurement requests. · Track and monitor deliveries and ensure timely arrival of ordered items. · Process supplier accreditation by receiving, reviewing, and evaluating required documentation. · Create and process Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) and Purchase Orders (POs) using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. · Coordinate with the logistics team for scheduling the pick-up or delivery of items to warehouses or the BGC office. · Communicate with suppliers for price canvassing, quotation follow-ups, negotiation, and order status updates. · Support procurement-related tasks as delegated by the immediate head or Procurement Manager. · Maintain organized procurement records and contribute to supplier performance evaluation. · Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
