Job Description

The Project Architect is responsible for leading the planning, design, and implementation of architectural projects from concept to completion. This includes coordinating with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure the project meets design, functionality, quality, budget, and timeline requirements. The Project Architect must be PRC-licensed and up to date with Philippine building codes, standards, and construction regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design development and preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and documentationll designs comply with the National Building Code of the Philippines, local ordinances, and other relevant regulations

  • Coordinate with structural, MEPFS, and other consultants during all project phases

  • Supervise and monitor site works to ensure construction aligns with approved plans and specifications
  • Attend project meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants; prepare reports and minutes as needed
  • Assist in obtaining necessary permits, clearances, and approvals from regulatory agencies
  • Evaluate and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and change orders
  • Support project budgeting, cost estimates, and value engineering when required
  • Manage design revisions and address site issues during construction
  • Guide and mentor junior architects, designers, and CAD personnel
  • Attends Meetings Related to Project
  • Inform Design Changes & Reports to the Project Director
  • Coordinate the Review of Design Documents, Drawings and Specifications
  • Assures Effective Design Solutions
  • Initiates Preparation of Project Estimates & Objectives
  • Prepare Project Investigation Report
  • Monitors and Implement Project Time Schedule and Budget

Job Qualifications:
  • Licensed Architect in the Philippines (must be PRC-certified)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in architectural design and site/project management
  • Proficient in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Vray Render, 3D Studio Max, Adobe Creative and Freehand Drawing
  • Newly licensed Architect with strong design sense, technical capabilities, and eagerness to grow in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, detailing, and Philippin.
  • Can manage multiple projects.
  • Can work under pressure.
  • Experience in Office Fit-out, Residential, Building Construction and Commercial Spaces a Plus
  • Willing to work overtime.
  • Ability to work and contribute to a team environment.
  • High level of energy and tenacity
  • Desire & Ability to learn.
  • Outstanding Organizational and Time Management Skills, Results Oriented, Good Business Ethics and demonstrate a high level of integrity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Willing to travel and be assigned to various project locations when necessary
  • Preferably with experience in vertical/horizontal construction, fit-out, or high end commercial/residential developments

Additional Preferred Certifications (a plus but not required):
  • UAP membership
  • Green Building Certification (e.g., BERDE, LEED)
  • Project Management training or certification
  • Construction Safety and Health (COSH) training
