Role Overview

We are looking for a Livestream Technical Operator
to manage the end-to-end technical execution of our TikTok Live and other live selling events. This role is responsible for ensuring our broadcasts are smooth, high-quality, and optimized for audience engagement and sales. You'll handle all technical equipment, streaming software, live chat tools, and troubleshoot any real-time issues — so the production team and hosts can focus on delivering a great show.

Key Responsibilities

Live Event Setup & Execution

● Set up all live streaming equipment (cameras, lights, microphones, tripods, backdrops) prior to broadcasts.

● Operate TikTok Live Producer / OBS / Streamlabs or equivalent software during shows.

● Manage transitions, overlays, product display visuals, and on-screen graphics in real time.

● Ensure optimal audio and video quality (monitor and adjust levels live).

Technical Troubleshooting

● Identify and resolve technical issues instantly during livestreams to prevent downtime.

● Maintain backup internet connection and alternative streaming setups.

● Ensure platform compliance and avoid stream interruptions due to violations.

Coordination During Lives

● Follow the run-of-show and cue hosts, moderators, and producer when transitions or offers are coming up.

● Communicate with the Live Producer & Moderator during the event to adapt visuals, product showcases, or scene changes as needed.

Post-Event Management

● Save, archive, and organize recorded livestream files for future editing.

● Document any technical issues encountered and provide solutions for future prevention.

● Maintain and upgrade live streaming gear as needed.

Qualifications

Experience:

● 1–3 years in live production, streaming, broadcast operations, or similar role.

● Familiarity with TikTok Live, YouTube Live, or Facebook Live workflows.

Skills:

● Proficiency with live streaming software (OBS, Streamlabs, TikTok Live Studio).

● Strong knowledge of camera, lighting, and audio equipment.

● Ability to work under time pressure and adapt quickly to live production needs.

● Basic knowledge of graphic overlays and live scene switching.

Soft Skills:

● Calm, clear communicator in high-pressure situations.

● Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.

● Team player who can take direction and execute precisely.

● Zero major technical failures per month.

● Consistently high-quality audio and video output.

● On-time setup completion for all livestreams.

● Accurate execution of all planned live transitions and visual elements.
