About Us

We are a small but fast-growing importer and repacker of healthy food ingredients supplying HORECA, food service, and retail partners. As our team expands, we need an HR professional who can build structure, streamline processes, and support the organization's growth—not an admin clerk, but someone who understands the operational realities of a lean, scaling business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end hiring: sourcing, screening, interviewing, background checks, and job offer preparation.
  • Build job descriptions, scorecards, and competency-based interview flow for each role.
  • Develop onboarding checklists and ensure new hires integrate smoothly into their teams.

2. HR Systems & Documentation

  • Create and maintain HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks, and compliance documentation (DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Implement proper personnel file management, attendance systems, leave tracking, and performance review documentation.
  • Set up structured workflows for incident reports, memos, and disciplinary procedures.

3. Employee Relations & Culture Building

  • Act as point-of-contact for team concerns, conflict resolution, performance issues, and coaching support.
  • Reinforce company values, standards, and communication norms.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives aligned with company culture (not gimmicks, actual culture-building).

4. Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate practical training sessions (QA, safety, product knowledge, operations).
  • Support department heads in developing training materials and assessing effectiveness.

5. Operations & Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with Operations, QA, Sales, Warehouse, and Finance to understand manpower needs.
  • Coordinate schedules, manpower movement, and staffing adjustments based on operational realities.

6. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to DOLE standards and all government requirements.
  • Manage health and safety documentation, workplace compliance audits, and reporting.
  • Monitor and implement corrective actions for attendance issues, behavioral violations, and performance problems.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years HR generalist experience (preferably in food, FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environments).
  • Strong understanding of PH labor law, DOLE standards, and HR compliance.
  • Fast-thinking, highly organized, and able to manage multiple moving tasks.
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Able to build HR processes from the ground up and adjust them as the company scales.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving, hands-on environment.
