Job Description

As a Capability Instructional Designer, you will manage the end-to-end creation of engaging learning solutions-from needs analysis and design to delivery and evaluation. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, leverage cutting-edge tools, and ensure learning materials are impactful, accessible, and aligned with business goals.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3-5 years experience in Instructional Design and Learning and Development
• Must be able to work an Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) or Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) 9:00am-5:30pm
• Proficiency in instructional design software and tools such as Articulate and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, AGES), and best practices in e-learning development
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) or LXP, with specific experience in Docebo being highly desirable
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines, such as WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), to ensure learning materials are accessible to all learners
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an easy-to-understand manner
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards
• Comfortable working autonomously and independently within a team environment
• Ability to respectfully speak up and challenge people and process to achieve better outcomes
• A creative mindset with a desire to develop or explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance learning experience
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Your Daily Tasks

• Conduct thorough needs assessments and analyses in collaboration with relevant stakeholders & SMEs to identify learning gaps and determine appropriate learning interventions
• Lead the end-to-end project management of developing learning materials including the development of detailed storyboards and interactive elements aligned to learning needs
• Design, develop, and curate engaging instructional materials, including e-learning modules and interactive activities, using tools such as Articulate
• Manage, organize, and update content and resources within the Learning Management System (LMS) or LXP, specifically Docebo, ensuring accessibility and consistency
• Lead the end-to-end management of instructional design projects ensuring timely and successful delivery
• Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of learning solutions
• Ensure all training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and adhere to organizational standards and branding guidelines
• Stay abreast of current trends, technologies, and best practices in instructional design and adult learning, integrating relevant innovations into training solutions
