About the role

As a Quality Engineer at Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes and products. This full-time position is based in Calamba City Laguna, where you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control systems to meet the highest industry standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and testing methods to identify and address quality issues
  • Work closely with Failure Analysis (FA) and Reliability teams to investigate and resolve ORT failures.
  • Initiate and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) based on ORT findings.
  • Apply root cause analysis tools (8D, FMEA) to address reliability issues.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze ORT data to identify trends, anomalies, and early signs of product reliability risks.
  • Prepare and present ORT performance reports, highlighting test results, deviations, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all ORT activities for traceability and audit purposes.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office and statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
