Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, ECE, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of experience as a lead voice support engineer in enterprise infrastructure/voice network environments
  • Strong experience in Cisco VoIP infrastructure, voice planning, architecture design, and optimization
  • Non-negotiable skills:
  • Configuring & troubleshooting Cisco Unity Connection and Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM)
  • Configuring & troubleshooting Cisco Contact Center tools (Finesse, Egain, Calabrio, ICM)
  • Knowledge of Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)
  • CCNA Collaboration certification (or equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on experience with voice solutions such as:
  • Cisco Voice Portal (CVP), VXML Gateways, SIP Trunks, Cisco CER, Attendant Console, SME, WebEx Softphone
  • Voice Gateways, PSTN Trunks (FXO, T1/E1)
  • QoS for Voice and Video Infrastructure, Enterprise Dial-Plan
  • Strong experience with ACD and large-scale IVR systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical solutions to stakeholders
  • Willingness to work in 24x7 shifting or on-call rotation

Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, deployment, and optimization of Cisco collaboration and voice solutions
  • Provide L3 support for Cisco UC systems, CUCM, Unity, CUBE, and Cisco Contact Center platforms
  • Configure and maintain enterprise dial-plans, SIP trunks, QoS, and PSTN connectivity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice network and contact center issues across global environments
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise voice infrastructure
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure voice and video solutions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and design standards
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical training and best practices
  • Support critical deployments, upgrades, and migrations with minimal disruption to business operations
  • Follow change management processes to ensure compliance and minimize risks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align voice infrastructure with business requirements
