About the role

Lakpue Drug Inc., a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced Lawyer to join their dynamic legal team. This full-time role will be based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, and will play a crucial part in supporting the company's corporate and commercial legal matters.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing legal advice and counsel on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including contract negotiation, intellectual property protection, and regulatory compliance
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, such as supply contracts, distribution agreements, and licensing arrangements
  • Supporting the company's mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives
  • Ensuring the company's operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks
  • Mentoring and supervising junior legal counsel, as required

What we're looking for

  • Must be licensed lawyer.

  • At least 1 year of post-qualification experience, preferably gained at a law firm or in-house legal department

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in corporate and commercial law, including contract drafting and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide pragmatic, commercially-focused legal advice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • The proven ability to work autonomously and lead more junior team members, as required
