Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing legal and regulatory compliance, managing contracts, processing permits, registrations, and intellectual property applications. Supervises a legal support team, provides guidance to management, and coordinates with government agencies to protect the company's interests.


Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Business Permits
  • Manage preparation, submission, and renewal of permits, licenses, and registrations with LGUs and national agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain updated database of permits and renewal deadlines.
Contract Review & Management
  • Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Ensure contracts comply with laws and company policies.
  • Maintain a contract tracking and monitoring system.
Corporate Registration & Governance
  • Handle corporate registration and SEC compliance (incorporation, amendments, reporting, annual filings).
  • Support corporate governance (board resolutions, secretary's certificates).
Intellectual Property (IP) Management
  • Manage patent filings and trademark registrations with the IPO.
  • Monitor deadlines, renewals, and compliance for IP protection.
  • Maintain organized IP documentation.
Supervision & Leadership
  • Supervise and mentor legal assistants/paralegals.
  • Conduct training and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with other departments for legal support.
Advisory & Risk Management
  • Provide legal advice on compliance, regulatory, and contractual matters.
  • Identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
  • Coordinate with external counsels when needed.

Work Arrangement
  • On-site / In-person work
  • 6 days a week
  • 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or Juris Doctor (J.D.); licensed lawyer with IBP.
  • 3–5 years' experience in corporate legal practice, compliance, or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, labor, contract, and IP law.
  • Experience with SEC, LGU permits, and IPO processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
