Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the flow of goods in and out of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating with suppliers and brokers, and overseeing documentation and shipment tracking.
  • Prepare and Issue Purchase orders.
  • If no order confirmation in 1week after submission of Purchase order, escalate to management.
  • Compare order confirmation price as against Purchase order unit cost.
  • Tracking shipments and monitoring the status of import orders.
  • Update Supplier shipment date according to Vendor's order confirmation in Navision / ERP.
  • Update weekly shipment plan for all orders from abroad.
  • Arrange and combine shipment / purchased orders for lowest cost, / fastest delivery or what is most important for each purchase order.
  • Decide with Supply Chain Manager if orders are urgent and need LCL / AIR or combine in Container for lowest cost.
  • Handles Purchase receipts and Invoices.
  • Check actual quantity and items received.
  • Check the quality of the pallets and frames, if found defective, report to Shipper and request for a Credit note.
  • Compare Vendor invoice price as against Purchase order unit cost.
  • Submit to Finance the necessary documents for collection to client and payment to supplier.
  • Coordinates with Forwarders and Brokers regarding the status of shipments.
  • Ensure no waiting time in Customs, No storage fees (if possible).
  • Schedule delivery / inspection in port / at client's site, if products are overweight and delivery from port goes directly to customers.
  • Secures all necessary shipping documents including Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Import Permit, Certificate of Origin and other required documents before arrival of goods, examine the accompanying documentation according to import requirements, considering legal restrictions, country of origin, import quotas, tariff rates and current market values and ensure correctness on such.
  • Checks computation of Duties and Taxes for all Import shipments and final assessment given by the Broker.
  • Monitors importation requirements by overseeing the processes to ensure smooth releasing of imported cargos.
  • Receives and checks the billings of Broker or Forwarder.
  • Coordinate to Clients and Sales Team all VISMIN delivery via email by sending all the documents needed.
  • Participate in the regular physical inventory count and labelling items for easy identification.
  • Submit required reports based on deadlines.
  • Make shipment quotes for sales team, internal sales. For Airfreight / Oversizes products (Not fit in containers etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with Bureau of Customs (BOC) regulations and other government importation rules.
  • Other task as assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree holder
  • At least 3-5 years experience in logistics - handling import and export
  • Hands on experience and knowledge in BOC regulations and other government importation rules
  • Can meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Willing to work on site and travel if needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
