Associate Finance Controller

Handles end-to-end ATR responsibility of a relatively complex entity, which primarily includes (but not limited to) period-closing, control attestation, financial statement review (balance reconciliation and open items management), tax compliance support, and audit/limited review.

Key Responsibilities

• Covers cost and budget accounting, including cost allocation, variance analysis, and budget oversight, as well as managing accounts payable/receivable and billing tasks.
• The professional stream focuses on applying specialized knowledge by individual contributors. While part of the task doesn't primarily include manage people, they may coach, mentor, or oversee the work of less experienced staff and manage processes or programs.
• Individual work ranges from setting objectives and delivering on own work responsibilities to being a leading expert within a given field and influencing long term tactical decisions of the organization.
• Progression within this stream reflects increasing depth of professional knowledge, project management capability, and the ability to influence others.
• A colleague at this level works independently within defined boundaries and guidelines in a specific area but will need supervision and support on more complex tasks. Knowledge is required for the application of practical methods and techniques, work procedures and processes.
• Solutioning is through a choice between known alternatives, within the area of expertise and the leader will evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of the solution.
• The job requires previous work experience in a related area, or practical knowledge obtained via advanced education.
• Will be handling more complex entities in the L&S Americas.
• Ensure reconciliations and explanations are being done, highlighted, and provide for Center requirements such as narrative files, MPR and pre and post close requirements.
• Participate and be involved in ATR automations and projects to drive process efficiencies.

Qualifications

• With considerable years of relevant experience
• Good English Communications Skills for both written and verbal
• MS Office Proficient and Excel
• Amenable to work in Night shift schedule
• Knowledgeable with SAP Accounting System and
• One Stream – Reporting and Consolidation, Oracle based
• Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferrably a CPA.
• SAP knowledge is an advantage, with IFS, Dynamics and other relevant systems.
• Strong analytical skill
• Confidentiality and discretion of a very high level is expected
• Capable of meeting very strict deadlines and flexible to work in a team environment
• Highly energetic and self-motivated, proactive and resourceful
• Able to adapt successfully to multiple tasks that occur in a rapidly changing environment and to perform in highly interruptive conditions to meet time pressures/deadlines
• Amenable to work in a night shift schedule
• Also be able to have Project management background to assist in various finance platform migrations, projects and automations.
