Senior Associate, Project Controller

In our optimized CIP Platform, CIP Terra Technologies – a project delivery company delivering projects from onshore wind, solar PV and battery energy storage systems, to bioenergy, thermal and transmission infrastructure – is currently looking for a
Senior. Associate, Project Controller to join the team in Metro Manila, Philippines.
Role
The Project Controller supports cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure projects stay on track financially and operationally. Key duties include managing budgets, cash flow, and outsourced finance services, coordinating stakeholder meetings, and ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and documentation. Additional responsibilities include managing cost allocations, cash flow forecasts, budgeting initiatives, entity establishment/dissolutions, banking tasks, and supporting ad hoc financial requests and analyses.

Responsibilities will further consist of:

• Act as a liaison for projects, working closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Project Director, Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Government Relations, Commercial, Development, and technical teams) and external parties such as network companies and vendors.
• Provide comprehensive support to stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track with budgets and timelines.
• Develop, apply, and maintain business and project control features across all project responsibilities.
• Coordinate regular project meetings to discuss progress, milestones, deviations, and follow-up actions, including post-meeting documentation.
• Manage and liaise with outsourced service providers on various finance workstreams (e.g., accounting, accounts payable, management and financial reporting), ensuring timely and accurate review of management accounts and financial reports.
• Prepare monthly financial and operational management reporting packs for internal stakeholders.

You
We are looking for candidates with 3-6 years of experience in project controlling, finance, and accounting. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, business, management, or a related field. Additionally, certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.

We look for the following in a candidate

• Strong project management skills (PMI certification or equivalent a plus)
• Experience in the infrastructure/renewable sector
• Motivated by building best practices, solving complex issues, and growing the finance function
• Ability to prioritize assignments and manage short deadlines
• Team player with excellent stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written, with great communication skills
