Who We Need

Looking for an opportunity to build your career in a growing, tech-enabled environment? We're hiring an AP/AR Validator who is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in reviewing freight and logistics documents.

In this role, you will review, verify, and validate financial and shipment-related data using either our internal tools or the client's systems. You will help ensure accuracy, consistency, and smooth operations for our clients while working with a supportive team and modern technology.

What You'll Do:

  • Accounts Receivable Reconciliation:
    Manage and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing and payment processing.
  • Accounts Payable Management:
    Process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments.
  • Financial Reporting:
    Prepare accrual reports and assist in monthly financial closings.
  • Bank Reconciliation:
    Perform regular reconciliations of accounts and bank statements to ensure accurate financial records.

What You Need:

  • Experience working in freight forwarding, shipping line, or brokerage firms, either locally or internationally
  • Familiar with shipping documents (BOLs, AWBs, PKLs, invoices, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented with experience in data entry and data validation tasks
  • Comfortable with modern software, technology, and computer systems
  • Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS), especially Cargowise or Magaya
  • Graduate of Customs Administration or similar degree program
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas clearly and concisely in English, both in speaking and writing
  • Client management experience is a plus
  • Licensed Customs Broker (advantage but not required)

We provide a computer hardware but you must prepare your own laptop or desktop as a back up. The minimum technical requirements for remote work at Expedock are the following:

  • Uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement for this remote work position.
