Accountant (AP/GL & Reconciliation – Remote, Philippines)

About the Company

Burly Boyz is a leading logistics and moving company operating across Canada. We're scaling fast and looking for a detail-driven QuickBooks Online Accountant who can reconcile, maintain accuracy, and help us close our books on time every month.

About the Role

This role is all about keeping our financial systems in sync — reconciling revenue, expenses, deposits, and payables between Jobber, Helcim, Float, and QuickBooks Online. You'll work alongside our billing and finance teams to ensure accuracy across all accounts.

Responsibilities


• Reconcile Jobber revenue, Helcim deposits, and Float expenses to QuickBooks Online


• Process and post Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate coding and vendor setup


• Maintain balance sheet schedules (AR, deferred revenue, prepaids, fixed assets)


• Complete month-end tie-outs and variance analysis


• Collaborate with the Billing Coordinator to fix reconciliation discrepancies


• Maintain system documentation and improve accounting workflows

Requirements


• 3+ years of QuickBooks Online experience (multi-entity preferred)


• Strong reconciliation and accounting skills


• Familiar with Helcim, Float, or similar systems


• Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, text-to-columns)


• Bonus: CPA (PH) or equivalent background in accounting firms


• Reliable computer, 25+ Mbps internet, and 4–6 hours Mountain Time overlap

Employment Details


• Independent contractor, remote (Philippines)


• Full-time, 40 hrs/week


• Pay: ₱40,000–₱60,000/month (experience-based)


• Paid monthly via Philippine bank transfer
