Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Accountant, located in Dumaguete. The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing financial records, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and assisting with budgets and forecasts. The role will also involve managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting the overall financial operations of the institution.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
