About the Client:
We are a fast-growing company that works with home service contractors across the United States, including plumbers, remodelers, and HVAC specialists. Our goal is to help these contractors grow their businesses by setting high-quality, pre-qualified sales appointments so they can focus on closing deals.
The Business Model: We do this through targeted outbound cold calling. Using homeowner lists from specific zip codes, we call residents directly to offer free service estimates. Our current team generates 3 to 4 qualified appointments per day, and we are now hiring a skilled cold caller to help us increase that number. This role is critical to our company's growth and success.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cold Caller & Appointment Setter to join the team full-time. The primary responsibility of this role is to contact homeowners within specific U.S. service areas and successfully set free estimate appointments for contractor partners. The right candidate will have an excellent phone presence, the ability to quickly build rapport, and handle objections. 99% of conversions are made after handling an objection with the homeowner and effectively steering them to want to speak with 'our project manager' for a free estimate.
Key Responsibilities
Cold Calling & Appointment Setting
- Cold Calling: Make high-volume outbound calls to homeowner lists within designated zip codes.
- Appointment Setting: Engage homeowners in conversations, qualify interest, and pass over to our clients for free service estimates.
- Performance Goals: Consistently qualify and convert 3+ homeowners per day, with potential to grow to 10+ using advanced dialing systems.
- Rapport Building: Communicate naturally, professionally, and persuasively to overcome objections and gain trust.
- Script Management: Follow provided scripts while adapting to different scenarios and handling objections creatively.
- Dialer Operation: Use multi-line dialer systems (Kixie) efficiently to maximize call volume and track outcomes.
- Reporting: Provide accurate daily or weekly updates on calls made, script effectiveness, and lead outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Fluent English: Native-level fluency with a neutral or American-sounding accent. Clear, professional phone voice is a must.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in cold calling, sales, or appointment setting with proven results.
- Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Experience calling into U.S. markets, particularly home services, real estate, or contractors.
- Cultural Fit: Strong understanding of U.S. culture to effectively handle objections and build rapport.
- Technical Skills: Experience with multi-line dialer systems; Kixie familiarity is a plus.
- Mindset: Motivated, resilient, and goal-driven, with the ability to consistently meet or exceed daily appointment targets.
