About the role

The Isabelle Hotel in Naga City, Camarines Sur is seeking a talented and experienced General Maintenance Worker to join our team on a full-time basis. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our hotel facilities, ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and well-maintained environment throughout their stay.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting to address issues and complete preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment or facility-related problems in a timely manner
  • Assist with the setup and arrangement of hotel event spaces as required
  • Carry out regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify any potential issues
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the hotel
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and report on progress to management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a general maintenance worker or handyperson in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Strong practical skills in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to prioritise and complete tasks efficiently
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills to liaise with hotel staff and guests
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to handling a variety of maintenance-related tasks
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
