About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Analytics Manager who will lead the development and optimization of the project's Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) analytics ecosystem. This role will oversee multidisciplinary analytics work across climate, community, and biodiversity domains—ensuring full alignment with Verra's VCS AUDef, ARR, and CCB Standards.

The successful candidate will spearhead analytics strategy, lead a high-performing team, and collaborate closely with engineers, field staff, and external partners to deliver world-class, standards-compliant outputs for a major nature-based climate project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of analytics solutions supporting the project's MRV system.
• Manage and mentor a team of senior analysts working across climate, community, and biodiversity datasets.
• Ensure that all analytical processes and outputs comply with Verra's VCS AUDef, ARR, and CCB requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, field teams, and third-party partners to deliver high-quality data products, models, and reporting dashboards.
• Oversee end-to-end data pipelines—from ingestion to transformation to visualization.
• Strengthen the project's broader goals in community-led climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, and nature-based livelihood programs.
• Convert complex MRV requirements into efficient, scalable analytics systems and workflows.
• Communicate analytical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience in climate, forestry, sustainability, or environmental projects is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing or developing high-performing analytics teams.
• Strong technical foundation—comfortable with cloud platforms, data engineering pipelines, and BI/visualization tools.
• Strategic thinker capable of translating complex environmental MRV guidelines into actionable analytics solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management abilities.
• Passionate about applying data for climate action, environmental integrity, and community-driven solutions.

Plus Factor:

Familiarity with biodiversity and social monitoring systems such as SmartPatrol and CyberTracker.
